A welcome message from Senator Rose
April 24, 2018
Legislation proposed by Urbana based Carle Hospital and designed to help address poverty in the region by training and putting people to work passed by the Senate unanimously April 24. The legislation sponsored by State Senator Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) is built upon Carle Hospital’s Healthy Beginnings program and seeks to provide workforce training and employment skills to those out of work or underemployed.
As Senate Republicans, our goal is to encourage job growth by
developing an efficient, transparent, ethical state government
with less regulation and lower taxes. We must leave a legacy of
responsible government that will last for generations.
